Background of the Study
Supply Chain Management (SCM) plays a critical role in the success of businesses, especially in the retail sector, where efficient operations are crucial for customer satisfaction and business profitability. In the fashion retail industry, SCM involves the process of managing the flow of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring that fashion outlets can offer the latest trends, meet customer demand, and maintain profitability. Fashion outlets in Jigawa State face challenges related to inventory management, timely product delivery, and managing supplier relationships, which can significantly impact business performance. This study aims to evaluate how fashion outlets in Jigawa State manage their supply chains and the effectiveness of these practices in improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Statement of the Problem
Fashion outlets in Jigawa State often experience inefficiencies in their supply chains, resulting in stockouts, delays, and high operational costs. This study will focus on fashion outlets in Jigawa State, specifically investigating their supply chain management practices, challenges, and their impact on operational efficiency. Limitations may include difficulty accessing proprietary data on supply chain operations and potential biases in self-reported data from fashion outlet managers.
